1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Family Adventure Plans LLC, an Ohio limited liability company. By using this website, submitting a request or purchasing a product or service, you agree to these Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy and the Refund and Cancellation Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.
2. What we provide
Family Adventure Plans LLC, doing business under the Family Adventure Plans brand, creates informational digital travel guides and planning recommendations. Services may include Ready-to-Go plans and custom plans based on information supplied by the customer.
Family Adventure Plans LLC is not a travel agency, tour operator, transportation provider, booking agent, medical provider or insurer. Unless expressly stated in writing, we do not book, own, operate or control lodging, transportation, attractions, restaurants, parks or other third-party services.
3. Custom-plan process
A questionnaire submission is a free request, not an acceptance of work. We generally review custom requests within two business days. If the trip is a fit and capacity is available, we will confirm the package, final price, information needed and estimated delivery date before payment.
Standard custom plans require full payment before work begins. A payment offer normally holds the proposed planning spot for three calendar days. Exceptionally large Epic plans quoted above $500 may be offered an individual deposit arrangement.
4. Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate, complete and timely information. You must review the delivered plan and independently confirm reservations, operating hours, closures, admission requirements, permits, prices, weather, road conditions, accessibility, health requirements and safety information before and during travel.
You are also responsible for passports, identification, insurance, transportation, reservations, purchases and decisions made while traveling. Tell us promptly if dates, destinations or traveler needs change.
5. Delivery and revisions
The estimated delivery period begins after payment and receipt of all required information. Typical targets are approximately five business days for Adventure Starter, 7–10 business days for Complete and 10–15 business days for Epic. Timing may change because of trip complexity, customer delays or circumstances beyond reasonable control. The specific estimate confirmed before payment controls if it differs from these general targets.
Included revisions must be requested within seven calendar days after delivery. Revisions address the agreed trip scope and do not include a new destination, materially different dates, a substantially different group or a newly expanded itinerary unless separately agreed.
6. Ready-to-Go plans and permitted use
Ready-to-Go plans are general digital products and are not customized. A purchase grants a limited, nonexclusive and nontransferable license for the purchaser and their traveling household or group to use the plan for personal travel. Plans may not be resold, published, distributed, copied for commercial use or used to create a competing product.
7. Changing travel information and third parties
Travel information changes frequently. Closures, weather, wildfire, construction, staffing, seasonal operations, prices and third-party policies may change after research or delivery. We work to provide useful information but cannot guarantee that every third-party detail will remain current or that a particular experience will be available.
Links and recommendations do not create an endorsement, partnership or guarantee. Any booking or purchase from a third party is between you and that provider and is subject to that provider’s terms.
8. Travel risk
Travel and outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including weather, terrain, wildlife, transportation, illness, injury and changing conditions. You decide whether an activity is appropriate for your group and should follow official guidance, posted rules and professional medical or safety advice. No itinerary can eliminate travel risk.
9. Intellectual property
The website, branding, written plans, layouts, maps created by us and original materials are owned by or licensed to Family Adventure Plans and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Customer-provided information remains the customer’s information. You give us permission to use it only as reasonably needed to provide the requested services and operate the business.
10. Refunds and cancellations
Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Services and digital products are provided using reasonable care but without a promise that a trip will be uninterrupted, risk-free or meet every personal expectation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Family Adventure Plans is not responsible for losses caused by third parties, customer decisions, inaccurate customer information, travel disruptions or conditions outside our reasonable control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a product or service will not exceed the amount paid for that specific product or service. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.
12. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. We may update these terms for future use of the website or future purchases. The terms in effect when a purchase is made will govern that purchase unless a change is required by law.
