- Trip information such as destinations, dates, lodging, interests, pace and planning preferences.
- Family and traveler details such as names, ages, relationships, accessibility considerations, dietary needs and service-animal information that you choose to provide.
- Messages, feedback, revision requests and customer-service communications.
- Purchase and payment status. Payments are processed by Square. Family Adventure Plans does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.
- Basic technical and security information that our website providers may process, such as IP address, browser type and request logs.
2. How we use information
We use information to review trip requests, recommend the appropriate service, create and deliver adventure plans, process transactions, respond to questions, provide revisions and maintain business records. We may also use it to protect the website, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.
If you specifically choose to receive occasional trip ideas or offers, we may send marketing email. You can unsubscribe at any time. Transactional messages about a request or purchase are separate from marketing messages.
3. How information is shared
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share only what is reasonably necessary with service providers that support website hosting and storage, email delivery, payment processing and business administration. These currently include Square for payments and Resend for email delivery.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect customers or the business, to investigate fraud or as part of a future business transfer. Service providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.
4. Information about children
The website and services are intended for adults arranging family travel. A parent or legal guardian may provide relevant information about a child as part of a family travel request. Children under 13 should not submit forms, create requests or provide information directly. If you believe a child submitted information without appropriate permission, contact us so it can be reviewed and deleted.
5. Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed to provide services, maintain tax and business records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no method of storage or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

You may ask to review, correct or delete personal information by emailing hello@familyadventureplans.com. Some information may need to be retained for completed transactions, legal compliance, fraud prevention or legitimate business records.
